1.We know the French National Anthem 'La Marseillaise' but we do not know all the words! We were taught a song called Pirouette, cacahouète as well.
2.We do not have a President or a King in Scotland but we do have a Queen who is the Queen of Breat Britain. In history, we have had very many kings and queens. You may have heard of Robert de Bruce or King James VI who was the son of Mary, Queen of Scots (Marie Stuart). We DO have a man in charge of the government called Alex Salmond MSP but his title is 'First Minister of Scotland'.
3.There are many religions practised in Scotland but most people are Christian. We have mainly protestant Christians but many Catholics too. There are people who follow Judaism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism and Hinduism but they are concentrated mainly in the larger cities like Edinburgh and in particular Glasgow.
